The formula for absolute error in the recently published version of the new Stage 6 Mathematics Standard syllabus for implementation in 2018 has been amended.

From 2019 there will be optional HSC exams for English Studies and Mathematics Standard 1. The way schools provide information to NESA about school-based assessment in these courses will also change.
